We rescue stray or abandoned cats and kittens and look to rehome them into secure, loving homes once they have undergone medical checks/treatment and are old enough. In the case of feral cats, where they cannot be domesticated, we will neuter them, address any health concerns and either return them to their original home if possible or alternatively find a suitable new home. This is referred to as a “private adoption” as it is up to the adopter to liaise directly with the current carer to decide if the cat is suited to its potential new home. Equally, it is up to the current carer to decide whether the potential adopter will provide a good home and properly care for the cat, including keeping it indoors in its new home for a minimum of three weeks. We feature the cat on our website and give brief details but make no claim to accurate knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status and whether it is neutered or microchipped etc. The current carer continues to look after the cat until an adoption takes place.
